One shared grid. Everyone plays on it. Drop a letter, swipe a word to claim it, and fire off power cards to freeze, bomb and rob your rivals before the timer runs out.
Three moves to learn. A lifetime of ways to ruin someone's turn.
On your turn you add a single letter anywhere on the shared grid. Everyone builds on the same board, so a letter that helps you probably helps them too.
Drag across connected cells to lock in a word. Claimed cells turn your colour, chain multiple words in one turn and the combo bonus stacks up fast.
Steal seconds off a rival's clock, bomb a cell they need, or mirror their attack straight back. Highest score when the grid fills up takes it.
Bonus cells (double letter, triple letter, double word) sit on the board from the start — landing a long word on one is usually the moment a match swings.
Straight from the app — no mockups.
Words can run in any direction across connected cells.

The reason Word Fighter isn't a polite game.
Every match you carry a power deck. Cards unlock as you climb seven tiers — Rookie, Adept, Skirmisher, Tactician, Striker, Master and Grandmaster — and you spend XP to stock them.
Attack cards break the board. Defence cards bounce attacks back at whoever sent them. Utility cards buy you the one thing you never have enough of: time.
Not in the mood for a fight? The daily puzzle is one fixed grid, the same for everyone on the planet, and one question: how many words can you pull out of it before the timer dies?
Finish and you get a spoiler-free result card built for the group chat, a place on the daily leaderboard, and a streak you will absolutely refuse to break.
Wins, streaks, perfect games and daily firsts all pay XP. XP unlocks power card tiers. Match results move your skill rating, and your rating decides who the matchmaker puts you against.
Leaderboards run global, weekly, monthly, seasonal and friends-only, so there's always a board where you're close to climbing one more place.

A shared grid where strategy beats vocabulary.
Every player adds letters to the same board, so half the game is deciding what not to give away. Open up a triple word cell and someone else will take it before your next turn.
When you spot a word, swipe across the cells to claim it. Claimed cells lock in your colour and bank the points — and a good turn claims several words at once.
Three things Word Fighter does that the classics don't.
There's no rack and no hidden hand. Every letter goes on the shared board where anyone can build on it — including the person you were setting a trap for.
Opponents move while you think, the turn clock is always running, and a power card can wipe out the setup you spent three turns building.
A full match runs about five minutes. Pick a 4×4 grid with a 30-second timer and it's over even faster.
The things people ask before they install.
Yes. The full game — multiplayer, daily puzzle, leaderboards and power cards — is free. There are optional purchases for boosters, cosmetics and an ad-free experience, and you can earn most consumables with XP just by playing.
No. Public rooms run around the clock, so you can join a live match with strangers in seconds. There's also bot practice and a solo daily puzzle if you'd rather not play against people at all.
There's no letter rack — every player places letters on one shared grid, and you claim words by swiping across connected cells rather than laying down a full word. Turns are timed and run in real time, and power cards let you attack opponents directly.
About five minutes on default settings. You can make it shorter with a small grid and a fast turn timer, or longer with a 6×6 board and 60-second turns.

Single-use abilities you equip before a match. Some help you (extra time, hints, score multipliers), some attack opponents (freezing their clock, bombing cells, stealing points), and some defend against attacks. You unlock them by earning XP.
